Kermit

Born 23 march 1977 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Moved to Brussels Belgium in March 1981 where I completed all my schooling. Studied Art as a major in high school and got the International BachaloreatBaccalaureate certificate.
In 1997 started studying Cinematography but quickly gave up when offered a job as an art teacher in ST John's International school, Waterloo, Belgium.
This is also the year where I got my first, long awaited tattoo. The first of many to come shortly after. That was it, I was hooked!
In 1998 I started evening classes at the fine Arts Academy in Brussels where I decided to study for 4 years. During which time I had numerous occasions to exibitexhibit in art galleries and paint motorbikes, helmets, do murals for restaurants and disco's.
In 2001 I moved to Greece, where my first contact with the "tattoo scene" really started as I got offered a job as apprentice to become lead tattooist in the new shop being set up by Athens' leading tattoo company: "Barcode Tattoo".
A short while after, personal reasons bring me back to Brussels where I had to finish studying tattooing alone, but with a few very helpfullhelpful tips from local tattoo artists and a close friend who is a doctor helped for all the sterilisationsterilization and hygiene questions and pointers. I finally first tattoo myself then on realyreally trusting friends. I also continue at the fine arts accademyacademy for another 3 years.
In 2002, I really start tattooing customers at home.
In 2005 I moved back to greece,Greece, but this time to get my own studio on Agistri: Simply Tattoo sketched up.
In juneJune 2005, got offered partenershippartnership with tattooist Mario "Iron Machine", for a shop in South Africa. But my heart was allreadyalready aimed to finland,Finland, so I had to refuse.
I moved to Finland 31 December 2005.
February 20052006 I meet the gang at Igor's tattoo and got offered a trial period which turned out successful
In May 20052006 simply tattoo is officialisedofficials as a registered company and I sign ana partenershippartnership agreement for a shop in Jyväskylä with Finland's leading tattoo company: Igor's.
